Religion
Hi! It's good to see you around here again. Today I will talk about a very sensitive and personal topic: religion.
My relationship with religion is quite complex. In my childhood I was Catholic simply because it was a family tradition. I was baptized and even made my first communion, all unconsciously. I used to believe in someone who I had no idea who it he was.
As I got older, I began to reject Catholicism. I learned that the history of the Church is riddled with violence, chaos, and blood. I also learned that the justification for all this misfortune was that they did it under "the will of God." I quickly stopped believing, I couldn't tolerate a merciful God at the expense of human suffering. The Church had created a violent God that I could not accept because I believe it does not represent a true "faith".
So what do I believe in? Is it important to me to believe in something?
For a long time, faith did not matter to me. However, recently I have been questioning many things, among them are my beliefs. Who created us? Why do I believe us? Could it be God? Or Gods? Is it the Big Bang? What comes after death? There are many questions that I have and I don't know how to answer. I could look at science for answers or start believing in some religion, I don't know, but I think I should give more importance to my "faith".
Finally, I have something personal that I would like to talk about. I don't know if it can be considered as a "belief" or "faith", but I often think that human beings are a mass of energy that lives in harmony under the Sun and the Moon. Nothing more than that, just energy.
As I said before, it is very personal and a confusing topic for me. However, I like to learn and talk about these topics because I find them interesting.
With nothing else to say, thanks for reading my post! I would appreciate if you could leave an opinion or a similar experience in the comments. Greetings, see you next time!
Oh! I almost forgot it! Some time ago I saw a super interesting video that has to do with religion, especially Christianity. I leave the link for you to see. Bye!

Hi Juan. I read your blog and your opinions are incredible because your belief or faith about the human being is interesting to read and know. I believe in God but I do not follow the Catholicism church nor Evangelical, but I believe in God in my way.
ResponderEliminarHi!
ResponderEliminarI also became a Catholic by family tradition and when I grew up I realised that I didn't belong to that religion. I thought it was very beautiful what you wrote about us being a mass of energy that lives under the sun and the moon. And in my opinion, it should be considered a belief. I really enjoyed your blog.
Greetings.
